Aashna Chaudhary was born in August in Pilkhuwa, Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. From class 1 to class 8, she studied at St. Xavier’s School, Pilkhuwa, Uttar Pradesh. From 2012 to 2014, she did her schooling at St. Mary’s School in Udaipur, Rajasthan. From 2014 to 2016, she studied humanities at Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. She secured 96.5% in class 12. She did BA Honours in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi. UPSC Examination
After completing her graduation, she wanted to take a break from her studies to prepare for her post-graduation exams. During her break, her family members suggested her to prepare for civil service examinations. In her first two attempts, she failed to clear the exam. She then prepared for the loopholes in her preparations, and on the third attempt, she cleared the UPSC exam in 2022 with 992 marks (827 in the written exam and 165 in the personal interview). She picked Anthropology as her optional subject in the exam.
Preparation Strategy
Aashna dedicated herself tirelessly, studying for 12 to 14 hours every day, even while pursuing her master’s degree. Initially, she joined a coaching centre to prepare for the exam, but after a few months, she decided to drop out of coaching. Despite this, she managed to clear the UPSC without any external guidance. She used social media profiles within a gap of 2-3 months.
