Nandita started her career as Radio Jockey with All India Radio for their Marathi programmes. She also worked as a voice-over artist for many computer-based educational projects.
Theatre
Nandita joined Theatre accidentally. In an interview, she spoke about it and said,
I call myself an accidental actor because I had no plans to make my career in the entertainment industry. I was working in the corporate sector and to satisfy my creativity, I used to do the early morning shows at All India Radio.
