In 2021, Ali made his international debut at the Asian Championships in Oman, where he finished in fifth place. In 2022, he won a bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Abu Dhabi. Eabad Ali represented India at the Asian Games (2022) held in Hangzhou, China, where he bagged a bronze medal in the men’s windsurfer RS:X event in sailing at the NBX sailing centre in Ningbo with a net score of 52 points from 14 races.
