His father’s name is Shabir Shah, and his mother’s name is Afroz Shah. He has an elder brother.

Wife & Children

Azlan met the Pakistani social media personality Dr Warisha Javed Khan through Instagram. Warisha once saw Azlan’s photo with a lion on his Instagram account. Through Instagram, she started talking to him about wild animals, and gradually, they became good friends. A few months later, Azlan proposed to her, and the couple started dating. After a few months of dating, in May 2022, Azlan got engaged to Dr Warisha Javed Khan.

On 6 December 2022, the couple got married, and as a wedding gift, Azlan gifted a baby donkey (foal) to Warisha.

He took to his Instagram account to share the reason behind it. He wrote,

I always knew that @warisha.jk loves baby Donkeys so here’s a wedding gift to her from my side. ♥️ P.S: we didn’t separate this baby Donkey from his mother we brought her along.”

In 2015, he made his Lollywood debut with the Urdu film ‘Moor’ in which he played a supporting role.

He has played supporting roles in a few other Pakistani films like ‘Jalaibee’ (2015) and ‘Ae Dil Meray Chal Ray’ (2017).

In 2018, he started his self-titled YouTube channel. Initially, he uploaded videos of his TV commercials on the channel. On 16 August 2018, he uploaded his first vlog ‘Azlan Shah Walks – National Stadium to Sea View’ on his YouTube channel.

Gradually, he started gaining views on his YouTube videos. He came into the limelight with his YouTube vlog ‘When Wild Animal Becomes Friend’ in 2018.

 

He then started making videos with wild animals. Soon, his videos started gaining thousands of views. His other video which went viral was ‘Can Hyena be a friend,’ which was uploaded on YouTube in 2020.

Other Work

Azlan has been working for the welfare of wild animals for a very long time. In his teens, he started rescuing stray animals like cats, dogs, and donkeys.

He has even kept a few wild animals as his pets. He also owns a pizza joint named ‘Pizza Lounge’ in Karachi, Pakistan.
