Renjusha Menon (also spelt as Ranjusha Menon or Reanjusha Menon) was born on Sunday, 30 October 1988 (age 35 years; at the time of death) in Kerala, India. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. She completed her schooling at FACT Public School, Udyogamandal, Eloor, Ernakulam, Kochi. She was in a live-in relationship with Manoj Sreelakam, a director who works in the Malayalam entertainment industry, before she died in October 2023.

Career

Film

She made her Mollywood debut with Athbhutha Dweepu in 2005 in which she played the role of Rajkumari Lakshmi; the film featured Prithviraj Sukumaran, Guinness Pakru, and Mallika Kapoor in lead roles and was directed by Vinayan. She later acted in many films such as Classmates in 2006 as Kavitha, Marykkundoru Kunjaadu in 2010 as Lolappan’s Wife, City of God in 2012 as Parimalam, and Lisammayude Veedu in 2013.

Television

She started her television career by working as an anchor in the Surya TV show Sensations in 2008. She later acted in many TV shows such as Thulabharam in 2010, Balamani in 2014, Sthree and Ente Maathavu in 2020, and Nizhalattam. Some sources claim that Menon made her acting debut in the Malayalam television industry with the series ‘Sthree’ (2020). ^[2]Mint

Death

She was found hanging at her residence in the Sreekariyam locality of Thiruvananthapuram (formerly known as Trivandrum), Kerala, India, on 30 October 2023 at the age of 35 years. Her live-in-partner, Manoj Sreelakam, had gone to the shoot of a TV serial and called her multiple times; however, when she did not respond, he asked the security guard to knock on the door of the flat. When she did not respond to the guard’s knocks, Manoj came to the house around 11 a.m. and found her hanging in the house. Some of her fans were shocked that she took such a life-ending step on her birthday and also noted that her last Facebook post was a sad quote.

Some people alleged that she committed suicide by hanging due to financial problems, while other sources alleged that she was facing difficulties in her personal life. ^[3]Onmanorama
