Biography/ Wiki

Tushar Kalia was born on 7 March in Chandigarh. Tushar completed his schooling from DAV Pushpaanjali, Delhi and Ryan International School, Noida. For higher studies, he went to the University of Delhi. He has been one of the judges in the show Dance Deewane which streams on Colors channel.

Tushar always carries an outrageous style with him. He has sculpted the athletic body with 5’ 11” height, 75 kg weight and 44″ chest, 33″ waist, and 15″ biceps. Both his eyes and hair are black.

Career

Tushar Kalia began his dancing career under the guidance and direction of Shri Santosh Nair, the creative director of ‘Sadhya Unit of Performing Arts’. He is trained under Canadian choreographer, Brandy Leary for Ariel technique dancing. Before becoming a choreographer in Bollywood, Tushar worked in a company, organizing shows around the world. Tushar’s got his real fame when he turned up as a choreographer on Season 6 of Jhalak Dhikla Ja show with actress Ekta Kaul but got eliminated in the first few weeks of the reality show. He later returned as a wildcard entry with actress Sana Saeed in the same season.

He appeared on the 7^th season of Jhalak Dhikla Ja with dancer Shakti Mohan.

After being on Jhalak Dhikla Ja, Tushar got his break in Bollywood and worked for Karan Johar as a choreographer for the song “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.”

He has choreographed films such as Vaani Music Video for Yrf (Yaarmananani), Half Girlfriend, Qareeb Qareeb Single, Ok Jaanu, Hate Story IV and Dhadak (2018). On 25 September 2022, he emerged as the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 hosted by Rohit Shetty.
