Surbhi Jyoti is a 30 years old brilliant actress who was born on 29 May 1988 in Jalandhar, Punjab. Her friends call her with the name Fruity. She completed her schooling from Shiv Jyoti Public School, Jalandhar and later graduated from the Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. She did her M. A. in English language from Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. She loves dancing and practicing Yoga.

After completion of her studies from Punjab, she started her career with a Punjabi film Ik Kudi Punjab Di in 2010. She has also worked as a Radio Jockey. Before getting the offer from the Television series Qubool Hai in 2012, she worked in a few Punjabi films and television series such as Ik Kudi Punjab Di, Raula Pai Gaya, Munde Patiyala De, Kach Diyan Wanga, and Akiyaan To Door jayen Na. Her performance in the TV series Qubool Hai made her popular door to door in India. She also appeared in a cameo in the Television show Ishqbaaaz in 2016. Later, she hosted several TV shows such as Pyar Tune Kya Kiya, Desi Explorers, and Desi Explorers Yas Island. In 2017, she appeared in a web show Tanhaiyan and Star Plus’ supernatural thriller “Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai.”
