Rubika Liaquat was born on 18 April in Udaipur, Rajasthan. She did her schooling from Udaipur’s St. Gregorios Senior Secondary School and went to University of Mumbai to pursue her Bachelor of Mass Media (Journalism).

While studying Journalism, Rubika did a 3 months internship with Channel 24 in 2003. She completed her graduation in 2005.

Career

Rubika started her career as a news anchor in 2007 with the channel Live India. She worked there till September 2008, and, then, joined News 24 as an anchor and senior correspondent. Next, she joined Zee News as an anchor. She became popular by hosting the show titled “Taal Thok Ke.” She worked as a Senior Anchor and Editor at ZEE News.

In August 2018, She resigned from Zee News and joined the ABP News Network. At ABP News, she started hosting the primetime show “Master Stroke” at 9 pm from Monday to Friday. The show featured some big national, international, and research-based stories.
