Romana Isar Khan was born in the year 1987 (age 31 years; as in 2018) in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She did her schooling from Meerut’s Sophia Girls’ School and went to Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh to pursue a degree in Mass Communication. After completing her studies, Romana relocated to Delhi and worked on a few short assignments.

Romana started her career as a news anchor with Zee News. She became quite popular for her style of news delivery. Her work was critically acclaimed and she received appreciation for handling the participants in the debate shows. There, she hosted the show titled “Sadda Haq” which aimed at restoring the common man’s rights which earlier had been denied by the establishments.
