Rocky Jaiswal was born on 14th February in Kolkata, West Bengal. He did his schooling from Kolkata. He came to Mumbai to make his career in film-making and production. He has been working in the Indian TV industry for more than a decade.

Rocky Jaiswal worked as the supervising producer for the long-running show ‘Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai‘, where he met his lady-love, the lead of the show Hina Khan. Although, they were ‘just friends‘ for a long time, eventually, their friendship turned into love. The two were quite secretive about their love life, and anybody hardly knew about their relationship. One fine day, Hina Khan posted a picture with him, on her social media account and mentioned him as her best friend. Her post raised the eyebrows of many and Rocky’s social media’s feed was filled with different questions, which he replied with another post, having the caption, “I am not a celebrity guys, I am just her best friend.”

Even after refusing their relationship, Rocky made a special appearance in the reality show ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’ (2017), to meet Hina Khan, who was one of the contestants of the show. Later in 2017, when Hina Khan participated in another TV reality show Bigg Boss 11, Rocky Jaiswal appeared on the show as her family member, and both accepted their love for each other on national television.

Even being in the TV industry so long, he rose to fame with his appearance in Bigg Boss 11 as Hina Khan‘s boyfriend and gathered a big fan following on his different social media handles.

Career

Rocky Jaiswal completed his education from his hometown Kolkata. Even having a family business, back in Kolkata, he moved to Mumbai to try his luck in film-making and started assisting in various TV projects. He has been in the TV industry for more than ten years and has worked with the leading production companies. He was the supervising producer for ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai‘. Later in 2017, he left his job and founded his production house along with his fiancee Hina Khan named ‘Faar Better Films’ under which he produces, advertisements, short films, web series, TV/serials, films, and also handles event management.

Rocky Jaiswal also launched an app named ‘Rockabyte‘ for the people who want a platform to represent themselves as a performer and showcase their talent. He has got other businesses including a wedding planning company.
