Maithili is a wonderful singer. She sings songs of all genre beautifully, either it may be classical, folk or light music. In fact, I literally fainted after hearing her singing difficult stanzas (Which I can’t even imagine)! Wish she was born as my sister (And also her brothers as my own brothers). She also plays harmonium very well. Wish I can learn to play harmonium from her (Though actually I am five years older than her), so that I too can sing with a support. Her father, Pt. Ramesh Thakurji is surely a great support, himself being a talented musician. It’s a fortune to have a father like him. He actively supports her and also her brothers, which can clearly seen in their performances.
N.B.: Her mother’s name is Bharti. Both Rishav and Ayachi are her younger brothers. She is the eldest of the three.
