The couple met for the first time on the sets of the singing reality show Celebrity Fame Gurukul in 2005. Gradually, they got romantically inclined towards each other. However, Bhakhtyar parents were not in favour of their son’s marriage to Tannaz as Tannaz was seven years elder than Bhakhtyar. To convince Bhakhtyar’s parents, Delnaaz and Paurus Irani came to his rescue and convinced their parents of their brother’s marriage, and eventually, the couple got married in 2007. Career

Inclined towards acting and dancing from a young age, Bhakhtar started dancing when he was in Class Eight. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a background dancer with a few popular choreographers like Farah Khan.

• In 2016, while shooting for the television show ‘Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai,’ Bhakhtyar had to shoot a sequence in which his fellow actor had to address him as fat and comment on his weight. Despite the scene being scripted, Bhakhtyar couldn’t take the comment on his weight, and consequently, he shed 20 kg of his body weight and came down to 70 kg from 90 kg within two months. In an interview, talking about how he could not take any comment on his weight, Bhakhtyar said,
  

  The uncle who had to mouth dialogues in a scene, had to comment on my big waist and huge frame of body. I asked Aatish to change the lines because I was not obese. He asked me to take it lightly but I could not, so I went on a diet plan for two months. From 90 kilos I came to around 70 kilos in a span of two months. I did this just to prove that I am not obese and no one can call me fat even if it is a part of the script.”

Career

Before pursuing a career as a boxer, Saweety used to play kabaddi at the state level, representing Haryana’s women’s kabaddi team. In 2009, after her father advised her to train for boxing, her interest got inclined towards it. Initially, Saweety received training in boxing from her coach in the ploughed fields near the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University. After receiving adequate training, she started participating in various national boxing championships. Saweety bagged gold in the 4th Junior Women National Boxing Championship in 2009, which was held at the Monual Haq Stadium Rajendra Nagar in Patna. In 2010, she took part in the 1st Youth Women Haryana State Boxing Championship and won a silver medal. Her breakthrough came in the year 2014 when Saweety participated in the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championship, which was held in Jeju City in South Korea; she won a silver medal in the light heavyweight (81 kg) category after losing in the finals from China’s Yang Xiaoli. In 2015, she participated in the Asian Women’s Amateur Boxing Championship in Wulanchabu, China in the light heavyweight (81 kg) category and won the silver medal after losing the final to China’s Yang Xiaoli. In 2018, Saweety decided to switch her weight class category from light heavyweight (81 kg) to middleweight (75 kg) for her further boxing tournaments. In 2019, she took part in the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championship and was defeated by Lauren Price of Welsh in the pre-quarter-final round.

Marital Feud

In March 2025, a video circulated on social media in which she was seen assaulting her husband, Deepak Hooda. The fight took place in a Hisar-based police station when the cops had requested the couple to be present in the station for an inquiry about a February 2025 dowry and physical abuse complaint lodged by Saweety against him. In response, Deepak too had filed an FIR against Saweety, accusing her and her uncle of beating and injuring him. After the altercation, she accused the cops of not taking strict action against Deepak. She later spoke to her followers through a social media video session and claimed Deepak to be gay and having a liking towards men.

Career

Being inclined towards acting from a young age, Rajendra shifted to Madras from Andhra Pradesh to pursue a career in acting and explore professional acting opportunities. Controversies

Accused of misbehaving with a female co-actor

In 2004, while shooting for the Telugu film Apparao Driving School, Rajendra was accused of behaving inappropriately by the Indian actress Malavika, who primarily appears in Tamil films. Malavika alleged that while enacting a kissing scene, Rajendra kissed her deliberately several times as if they were a real couple. Later, she registered a complaint against him with the Movie Artists Association (MAA). ^[10]The Times of India In an interview, talking about the unpleasant behaviour received from Rajendra, Malavika said,

I’m old enough to be his daughter. But he was so vulgar.”

Fined for violating traffic rules

On 31 June 2010, Rajendra Prasad was fined Rs 3000 by the traffic police for jumping the red light at Khairatabad in Hyderabad. Additionally, he was fined for using a fancy registration number plate for his car, which didn’t meet the prescribed guidelines of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA). Instead of obeying the traffic rules, Rajendra, on the contrary, argued with the traffic police and said,

Don’t you know that I am an actor? How can you issue a challan and that too with such a high penalty?” ^[11]The New Indian Express

Accused of seeking sexual favours from actresses

In 2018, Rajendra Prasad was accused by Indian actress Sri Reddy of harassing young female artists sexually on the pretext of a role in a film. She alleged that the Indian actress Malavika left the film industry after Rajendra misbehaved with her. On 3 October 2018, Sri posted on Facebook, where she accused Rajendra of exploiting women sexually and mentally, which read,

Mr.rajendra pichadu, Why u came out from maa association with in 6 months every one knows, Why heroine malavika left the movie industry every one knows..how much u irritate lady artists for the sexual favours every one knows..why your daughter ran away from your house every one knows..why actress hema fought with u??I respect u as a senior actor but not a human being.”

After completing her engineering, in 2016, Saloni started working with the multinational company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as a Java developer. Due to the monotonous routine of a corporate job, she decided to explore other career options, and eventually, she left her job at TCS. Saloni decided to pursue an MBA, and consequently, she gave the entrance exam and cleared it. Before joining the college for pursuing MBA, she was approached by the Delhi-based modelling agency Purple Thoughts, where she signed a contract of six months to model on behalf of the agency. While working for the modelling agency, Saloni met new people, travelled to various places, and grabbed different modelling and ramp opportunities, which ultimately motivated her to switch her profession from an engineer to a model. For a particular modelling assignment shoot, Saloni visited Mumbai, and later she got herself enrolled in an acting and theatre class in Mumbai. In 2015, she acted in the Hindi film Talvar in which she played the role of Dr Sunita Nathani.

In 2017, Charu appeared as Maya in the Hindi film Hindi Medium. In 2020, Charu played a brief role in the Hindi film Love Aaj Kal, starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan. In 2022, Charu acted in the musical adaption of the 2001 film “Monsoon Wedding” in which she played the role of Pimmi.

In 2014, Charu made her television debut with the show Siyaasat in which she played the role of Mehrunissa on Epic TV.

In 2019, Charu made her digital debut with the web series Made In Heaven in which she played the role of Sia Mathur on Amazon Prime Video.

In 2021, she appeared in the web series His Storyy as Rafia on ZEE5. The same year, Charu played the role of Qutlugh Nigar Khanum in the web series The Empire on Disney+ Hotstar.

Later, she appeared in a few web series like Aarya Season 2 (2021) as Nandini Shekhawat on Disney+ Hotstar, Delhi Crime Season 2 (2022) on Netflix, and Kaun Banegi Shikharwati (2022) as Rani Mrinalini on ZEE5, Mithya (2022) as Deepali on ZEE5. In 2022, Charu portrayed the former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi in the web series Rocket Boys and its 2023 sequel Rocket Boys Season 2 on SonyLIV.

Others

Charu choreographed the songs of the film Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid (2012) and Listen… Amaya (2013). She appeared in various advertisements for popular brands like Fortune Oil, Cadbury Chocolate, Metro Shoes, Mirinda, Urban Clap, Tanishq, Amazon Prime Video, Britannia, Ikea, and many more.

• In 2001, Charu was appointed as a dance instructor at Danceworx, a dance training academy, owned by an Indian-Australian choreographer Ashley Lobo.

• Being a fitness expert, Charu launched Janani Wellness Studio, which provides online classes regarding childcare support to pregnant women and young mothers.

• In July 2008, Charu was appointed as a global instructor with Reebok International. Since then, Charu has been working as a Jukari master trainer at Fitness First, a health club and gym in Gurgaon; Jukari is a modern gym workout, which was developed with the collaboration between Reebok and the Canadian entertainment company Cirque du Soleil.

• Since September 2009, Charu holds the post of director at Aquamarine Productions Private Limited, which is a platform created to provide opportunities in dance, music, or literature to young and aspiring artists.

• Charu is an AFPA-certified pre and post-natal fitness specialist and a certified ACE trainer.

• Charu is often spotted consuming alcoholic beverages with friends at various parties and events.

• Charu is an avid dog lover and she has seven pet dogs; a few of them are named Langru, Frodo, Cheekoo, Golu, and Meenu. In an interview, Charu revealed that she met her husband while rescuing a street dog and said,
  

  My hus­band and I met while res­cu­ing a dog. We have seven dogs and love pam­per­ing them.”

• Charu is fond of travelling, exploring new places, reading books and novels, painting, and trying new adventure sports.

• In 2017, Charu was appointed as the head of the well-being department at Rosewalk Healthcare, a maternity hospital in New Delhi. During her stint as the head of the well-being department, Charu designed and launched various classes and workshops for improvising the health of new mothers like prenatal exercise classes, diet consultations, lactation and breastfeeding support, well-being sessions, birth preparation classes, fit new mum programs, and baby’s sleep routine workshops.

• In 2017, Charu hosted an event at the DLF Cybercity in Chennai.

• On 3 August 2019, Charu was invited as a chief guest at the preschool Little Millennium in Jawahar Colony, Faridabad, Haryana.
