Career

She started her career as a theatre artist. She has performed in various Hindi and Marathi theatre plays.

She has featured as a model in various photoshoots.

In 1986, she debuted in the Marathi film, ‘Shabbas Sunbai.’ Later, she appeared in various Marathi films, like ‘Dhadakebaaz’ (1990), ‘Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi’ (1988), ‘Kalat Nakalat’ (1989), ‘Kadachit’ (2007), ‘Aajcha Divas Majha’ (2013), and ‘Manjha’ (2017).

 

She has acted in many Hindi films, including ‘Henna’ (1991), ‘Honeymoon’ (1992), ‘Sainik’ (1993), ‘Purush’ (1994), ‘Zakhmi Dil’ (1994), and ‘Yugpurush’ (1998).

She made a television appearance in the serial, Antariksh. She has appeared in a few Kannada films, like ‘Sharavegada Saradara’ (1989), ‘Vishnu Vijaya’ (1993), and ‘Rangenahalliyage Rangada Rangegowda’ (1997).

She is a producer too, and in 2002, she made her first documentary film, ‘Warli Art and Culture;’ screened at the Mumbai Film Festival. In 2007, she produced the award-winning Marathi film, ‘Kadachit.’ She debuted in the Hindi web-series, ‘The Raikar Case’ (2020); in which she played the character of Sakshi Naik Raikar.
